Well this is great, the telly has died and wifey and kids are impressed :(.... at 2.5yrs old, i wouldnt say its had a good run, but we'll have to see what Mr Samsung comes up with..
Some googling reveals its a not un-common problem with a range of samsung models (mines an LA40N81BDX), with the most common being buggered power supply caps (check) and faulty tuners (check).
